Fix WiFi Connection Issues by Changing Security Settings
If your WiFi isn’t connecting to Ahlbyt Portal, you may need to adjust your router’s security settings. Follow these steps:

Access Your Router’s Settings:
•⁠ ⁠Open a web browser and enter your router’s admin panel address (commonly 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
•⁠ ⁠Alternatively, use your service provider’s router app if available.

Modify Wireless Security Settings:
•⁠ ⁠Navigate to Wireless Security Settings in the router’s admin panel.
•⁠ ⁠Change the security type from WPA3-Personal to WPA2-Personal (WPA2-PSK).
•⁠ ⁠Save the changes and restart your router.

If you need assistance, contact your local internet service provider and inform them that you need to connect a 2.4GHz Ahlbyt Tablet device using WPA2-Personal (WPA2-PSK) security settings. They should be able to guide you through the process.

We have thoroughly tested this solution, and it works reliably. In rare cases—about 1 in 50 users security settings may cause this issue, but it’s an easy fix. Just follow the steps, and you’ll be connected in no time! 😊

The location services popup appears to enhance your experience by providing accurate weather updates and prayer timings. Ahlbyt Portal only records your country and city for customer service purposes—we do not track or store your precise GPS location.

For Ahlbyt Portal to function properly, the "Use Network-Provided Time" setting must be turned ON. This ensures accurate prayer timings, weather updates, and seamless service synchronization.

If you need to enable:

• Go to Portal Menu > Date and Time settings
• "Use network-provided time zone" Click on it to Turn ON "Use network-provided time"

Please make sure this setting is enabled during onboarding to avoid any discrepancies in time-based features. If you need assistance, refer to our step-by-step video here

You need to make sure "Use Network-Provided Time" setting is turned ON. If you have switched this OFF the updates will froze.

Here is how you can unblock it. STEPS:

• Go to Settings > Prayer Time page > Select Region
• Click on pick current location > Enable to continue > Your device dialog will appear that says 'To continue, your device will need to use Location Accuracy' (you will see a small down arrow)
• Click on down arrow > Click on "Manage Setting"
  On top search bar--> Type "network" & click search
• "Use network-provided time zone" Click on it to Turn ON "Use network-provided time"
